Obstructive Sleep Disorder

Obstructive sleep apnoea is seen in all age groups, but the frequency increases with age and obesity. Symptoms include snoring and daytime sleepiness. Weight loss, sleeping on one’s side, and decreasing alcohol consumption can help. The delivery of pressure via a face or nasal mask (CPAP) is often prescribed. Other common treatments include an oral device and surgery.

Sleep Health

Sleep is a naturally recurring state of mind and body, characterized by altered consciousness, relatively inhibited sensory activity, reduced muscle activity and inhibition of nearly all voluntary muscles during rapid eye movement sleep, and reduced interactions with surroundings.

CPAP Titration

A continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) titration study focuses on calibrating a CPAP device to find your optimal air pressure setting while you sleep. And a split night sleep study combines polysomnography and CPAP calibration.

Diagnostic Sleep Studies

Polysomnography, also called a sleep study, is a comprehensive test used to diagnose sleep disorders. Polysomnography records your brain waves, the oxygen level in your blood, heart rate, and breathing, as well as eye and leg movements during the study.
